ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic

🦃 Race Overview

• Event: Annual Thanksgiving Day Classic races starting and ending at the Peoria Sports Complex.
• Distances: 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Family Fun: With 3 different distances, there is something for everyone in your family to enjoy!
• Finisher Medals: Custom finisher medals for all participants in all races.

🎁 Charity Support

• Proceeds: A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Peoria Diamond Club.
• Local Charities: Supports many local charities including Special Olympics Arizona.
• Total Donations: Arizona Road Racers has donated over $65,000 to these charity efforts.
• Toy Drive: Unwrapped toys for the Peoria Toy drive can be dropped off on race day or at packet pickup.

👕 Race T-Shirts

• Long-Sleeve Tech Shirt: Included in adult registrations for the 5K, 10 Miler, and all 1 Mile Fun Run participants.
• Youth Shirts: Available for $15.
• Registration Tip: Register early to ensure your size is available. Women's shirts run small.
• Cut-off Notice: There will be a 9:40 am cut-off for the safety of participants and course workers.

🗓️ Race Registration

• Registration Deadline: Closes on Race Day November 28th at 6:59 am.
• Online Only: Registration can only be done online through RunSignUp.
• No Paper Registrations: There will be no paper registrations on Race Day.
• Start Times:
  • 10 Mile: 7:30 a.m. (10 Mile course map)
  • 5K: 8:15 a.m. (5K course map)
  • 1 Mile Fun Run: 8:25 a.m. (1 Mile Fun Run map)

🥧 Awards

• Pies Awarded: Top three winners of each age group for the 5K and 10 Mile races.
• Age Groups: Awards for multiple categories in both races.
• Awards Ceremony: 5K awards ceremony will start at approximately 8:45 am.
• Finishers Medals: All participants will receive finishers medals.

🍼 Strollers & Safety

• Strollers: Allowed but must start at the back of the pack for everyone's safety.

📅 Packet Pickup

• Sunday 11/24: Runner’s Den, 6505 N 16 St Phoenix, 85016 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.
• Wednesday 11/27: Peoria Sports Complex, 16101 N 83rd Ave Peoria, 85382 from noon – 6 pm.
• Thursday, Race Day: Packet pick up from 6:30-7:45 am at Peoria Sports Complex.
