🦃 ARR Thanksgiving Day Classic

🏁 Event Overview

• Date: November 27, 2025
• Location: Peoria Sports Complex, Peoria, AZ
• Distances: 10 Mile, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run
• Medals: Custom finisher medals for all participants in all races.

❤️ Charity Support

• Proceeds: A portion will be donated to the Peoria Diamond Club.
• Beneficiary: Supports local charities including Special Olympics Arizona.
• Past Donations: Over $65,000 donated by Arizona Road Racers to charity efforts.
• Toy Collection: Unwrapped toys can be dropped off on race day or at packet pickup.

👕 Race T-Shirts

• Shirt Type: Long-sleeve technical shirt included in adult registrations for the 5K, 10 Mile, and all 1 Mile Fun Run participants.
• Youth Shirts: Available for $15.
• Registration: Register early to ensure your size is available.
• Note: Women's shirts run small.

⏰ Race Day Information

• Cut-off Time: 9:40 am for safety, equating to a 13 minute/mile pace for the 10 Mile race.
• Registration Close: Race Day registration ends at 6:59 am.
• Online Registration: Only available through RunSignUp.
• No Paper Registrations: Will be accepted on Race Day.

🏆 Awards

• Award Details: Pies awarded to top three winners of each age group for the 5K and 10 Mile races.
• Age Groups: Various categories for both races.
• Awards Ceremony: 5K awards start at approximately 8:45 am.
• Finishers Medals: For all participants: remaining pies will be distributed to participants who stayed for the ceremony.

👶🏻 Strollers

• Allowed: Strollers and baby-joggers must start at the back of the pack for safety.

📦 Packet Pickup

• Early Pickup: Sunday, 11/24 at Runner’s Den, Phoenix, AZ.
• Date: Wednesday, 11/27 at Peoria Sports Complex, noon – 6 pm.
• Race Day Pickup: 6:30-7:45 am at the race location.
