Veterans Day 5K

RUN FOR OUR VETERANS!

Cairn University Athletics and RUN 12:1 Running Club are excited to bring you the 2025 Veterans Day 5K. Now in our fifth year, this race supports our American veterans with scholarships to further their education after serving their country.

Race Overview

This is a paved, trail race through beautiful Tyler State Park, Newtown, PA. It is a fun but challenging course on the parks rolling hills. There is also a 1-mile fun run/walk and a virtual run. All registrants will receive a unique, custom designed Veteran's Day Race shirt if registered by Saturday, October 25th. And participants in the 5K can compete for overall and age group trophies and medals.

5K Details

• Date: Saturday, November 8, 2025
• Course: Paved trail format laid out on a rolling terrain course contained within Tyler State Park. Distance: 5k (3.1 miles) - 1-mile fun run/walk option also available
• Location: Tyler State Park, Newtown, PA. Parking: The lot closest to the Tyler Park Center for the Arts off Newtown-Richboro Road (Rt. 332) - Number 1 Lane Trail/Stable Mill Rd entrance.
• Registration: Please complete on-line by Friday, November 7 at noon. Limited on-site registration will be available as space permits.

Event Schedule

• Check-in: 8:30am - 9:15am
• Start Time: The race will start at 9:30am – Rain or shine
• Fee: General Registration $35: Veteran's $30: Students $25: special team pricing available ( $5 Price Increase beginning 11/7/25)
• Discounts: Discounts will be applied during the registration process

Race Shirts

All participants registered by Saturday, October 25th, will receive the custom designed, Veterans Day 5K race-shirt in their requested size. We do order extra shirts but cannot guarantee availability or size for those registering after October 25th.
