Live Well Half Marathon, Free 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

• Organizer: Kinetic Physical Therapy and Wellness is hosting this event with local sponsors to promote health in Pitt County.
• Events: Participants can compete in a half marathon, a FREE 5K, or a 1-mile Fun Run.
• Goal: To encourage both competitive and first-time runners to enjoy the benefits of exercise and healthy living.
• Location: Event takes place at Town Common, Greenville, NC.

💰 Pricing

• Half Marathon: $55 early-bird, $65 regular, $75 on race day.
• 5K &: 1-Mile: FREE (pre-registration required).

🕒 Race Times

• Race Day Registration: 6:30-8:00 am.
• Half Marathon Start: 7:30 am.
• 1-Mile Fun Run Start: 8:30 am.
• 5K Start: 9:00 am.

🏅 Awards

• Half Marathon: Top 3 male &: female finishers will receive trophies.
• 5K: Top 3 male and female finishers for each age group will receive medals.
• Age Groups: Medals for ages 12 and under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
• Half Marathon Finishers: All participants will receive finisher medals and a T-shirt.

🏞️ Courses

• Certification: Both the 5K and Half Marathon courses are USATF certified.
• Water Stops: Half Marathon course has multiple water stops with specific locations provided.
• Porta-Potties: Available along the course.
• Time Limit: 3:30 time limit for the half marathon (approximately 15-minute pace).

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Pre-Race Day Packet Pickup:
• When: Thursday, March 6th from 11:30am-6:00pm and Friday, March 7th from 11:30am-6:00pm.
• Where: Kinetic Physical Therapy &: Wellness, 1540 East Arlington Blvd.
• Contents: Packet will include your shirt, race bib, clips for your bib, and other race materials.

🚗 Parking

• Parking Options: There is additional public parking available around Town Common.
• Areas to Park:
• Five Points Plaza: 500 Evans St. (Corner of Evans St and 5th St).
• Roses Lot: 323 Evans St (Corner of Evans and E 4th St).

📝 Additional Notes

• Arrival: Please arrive early to ensure you are at the starting line on time.
• Finish Line: Snacks and drinks will be provided at the finish line.
• Awards Ceremony: Will be held around the Amphitheater Stage at 10:00am.
• All participants: Whether you run or walk, this will be a great way to celebrate health and wellness in Eastern NC!
