Sorry Bout That Half Marathon and Team Relay

🏃‍♂️ Welcome Back Runners!! This is the 11th Running!!!

The Sorry 'Bout That 1/2 Marathon and Team Relay is back for 2025. Hopefully it will be above freezing this year on race day, but not by much.

📅 Schedule

• 9:30: Registration/Packet Pickup Begins
• 11:00: Race Begins
• 2:00: Awards

🏁 Course

The course will be anti-clockwise this year, meaning a downhill start and downhill finish, with the large uphill in the middle miles. Two aide stations and one portajohn will be on the course. Anti-clockwise means it goes the opposite direction of an old clock with hands. All turns on the course are to the left except for one.

Start and Finish at the Mission Valley Aquatic Center on Ridgewater Drive Polson, MT. It's a large anticlockwise loop. Start on Ridgewater, turn left onto bike path heading north. Follow bike path until you make a right turn (the only right turn) onto 7th Ave West. Continue on 7th Avenue through town heading west. Road turns to the left heading uphill and becomes Kerr Dam road and then Back Road. Continue running on Backroad all the way to Reservoir Rd. Turn left on Reservoir Rd heading east toward the mountains. Stay on Reservoir Rd for about 4 miles, at the traffic light turn left onto bike path and run adjacent to highway 93 heading north toward the Lake. Follow bike path all the way back to Ridgewater drive. Take left onto Ridgewater and return to MVA.

🅿️ Parking

• NO Parking: in the Mission Valley Aquatic Center.
• Parking Location: All parking for the race will be at the soccer fields behind the pool.
• Directions: Drive past the pool on Ridgewater, turn right and go into large gravel lot behind the pool.

🎽 Additional Information

• Finisher Medals: Free with entry and finish. If you enter the race and don't run you will not get a medal.
• T-Shirts: This year T-shirts are an extra cost. The T-shirt option was turned off on 12/29/2024.
• Costume Head Start: Wear a costume to get a 30-second head start.
• Packet Pickup: Same day only.
