🎄 Event Overview

Get ready for the most exciting event of the Christmas season! The Reindeer Run is back with its annual Christmas-themed chip-timed 5K race and 1-mile run/walk in the heart of historic Downtown Hammond, Louisiana. Join us for this unique and festive community favorite, made possible by title sponsor Davie Shoring and the valued assistance of our amazing support partners.

🥇 Finisher Medals

All participants in both the 5K and 1-mile fun run are guaranteed to receive a custom finisher medal after their events. These medals are not just tokens, but a symbol of your achievement and our appreciation for your participation. This will be an exciting event for both seasoned runners and families - a great time for all!

👶 Family-Friendly Participation

We want to make sure that everyone can participate in our family event. That's why we happily welcome strollers, including jogging strollers, onto the course. We believe in creating an inclusive community event where everyone can join in the fun. If you're bringing your little one in a stroller, they don't need to be registered unless you'd like them to receive a finisher medal too.

📅 Packet Pickup

Packet pickup:

• Date: Friday, Dec. 6
• Time: 12 to 6 p.m.
• Location: Perfectly Fit - 303 W. Minnesota Park Rd, Suite E, Hammond, LA 70403
• Race day pickup: Available on Saturday, starting at 7 a.m. in Cate Square.

🏁 Event Details and Schedule

• Start/Finish: Our race starts and finishes in Downtown Hammond's Cate Square Park and concludes with a Holiday themed after party.
• 1-Mile Fun Run: Begins at 8 a.m. and the 5K will start immediately after the last 1-mile runner clears the course (approximately 8:30).
• Parking: Downtown Hammond provides numerous FREE parking options, including a parking mall just a short walk away from the starting line.
