10th Annual Delta 5K Run/Walk

🏃‍♀️ Welcome to the 10th Annual Delta 5K Run/Walk

The Broward Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority is proud to present our 10th Annual Delta 5K on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at Plantation Central Park. This community event is a fundraiser in support of the youth mentoring programs, scholarships and operations of the Delta Education & Life Development Foundation, which is our 501 c3 non-profit organization.

🎽 Participant Benefits

• Race Bib: All participants will receive a personalized 5K race bib with RFID timing chip.
• T-shirt: An event t-shirt will be provided to all participants.
• Medal: Participants will receive an amazing finisher medal.
• Timing: The 5K is chipped timed by Victory Sports and will provide awards for the top 3 overall and in age groups.

• Location: Plantation Central Park, 9151 NW 2nd Street, Plantation, FL 33324
• Start Time: The 5K run will begin at 7:30 am.
• Registration: Starts at 6:30 am.

🗓️ Event Schedule

• 6:30 AM: Registration opens.
• 7:00 AM: Warm Up.
• 7:20 AM: National Anthem.
• 7:30 AM: Race Start.
• 8:45 AM: Awards Ceremony.
