IRIS Run for Refugees

🏃‍♂️ Run/Walk in Person

• Date: February 9th, Super Bowl Sunday
• Location: Wilbur Cross High School, New Haven, CT
• Distance: Flat 5K run/walk through New Haven's East Rock neighborhood
• Start Time: 12pm

🌍 Virtual Option

• Alternative Participation: Join virtually by running, walking, or biking a 5K in your neighborhood.
• Flexibility: Complete your race on a treadmill or wherever you like.

🤝 Go the Extra Mile for Refugees

• Fundraising: Create an individual or team fundraiser to support IRIS's services.
• Support Services: Help with housing, healthcare, job placement, education, and more.
• Community Impact: Over 3,000 refugees, asylum seekers, and undocumented immigrants welcomed in 2024.
• Be a Champion: Sign up to help welcome more newcomers in 2025!

👕 Registration Perks

• Shirt Options: Registration includes a white long-sleeve tech shirt or black short-sleeve shirt.
• Distribution: Shirts will be given away on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Show Off: Rock your Run for Refugees gear across Connecticut and the country!
