About this race
Event Overview
It's the most wonderful time of the year! Time to put on your ugliest sweater and join us on Saturday, December 12th, 2026 as Trinity Lutheran Ministries presents the 10th annual CHRISTmas Ugly Sweater 5K!
This year we have a lot to celebrate. Our race is celebrating 10 years and Trinity is celebrating 125 years!
Once again you have the option to run in person or virtually.
The in-person race will be held on Saturday, Dec. 12th at 9:00 am.
The virtual race will be open to run from Dec. 12th - Dec. 20th.
Why YOU Should Join Us
- Christmas Cheer: You will be filled with Christmas cheer as you enjoy a wonderland of music, photo booth and hot chocolate and cookies at the finish line!
- Community Support: Proceeds benefit individuals in the community through Glen-Ed Food Pantry & Neighbors in Need.
- Merchandise: This year we are offering t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, crew neck sweatshirts and hoodies!
- Guarantees: A fun finisher medal and shirt are guaranteed to those who register by December 2nd.

Early Registration Prices
- $30: for t-shirt
- $35: for long sleeved t-shirt
- $40: for crew neck sweatshirt
- $45: for hoodie
Early Registration ends Nov. 29th. Prices will increase $5 for each option.
Awards
- Overall Awards: Plaques for Overall Male/Female.
- Medals: Awards to Top 3 in the following age categories: 9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-74, 75+
Virtual 5k Awards - Medals will be awarded to the top finisher in each age category.
Packet Pickup
12/11/26 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Trinity Lutheran School (Please use the school entrance to the left of the church doors.)
Race Day Packet Pickup - 12/12/26, 8:00 am-9:00 am, Trinity Lutheran Church.
Post-Race Sweater Contest
- Prizes: Gift card prizes awarded to those who enter our sweater contest!
- Awards: For Ugliest Sweater, Most Christmas Spirit, & Best Group Sweater Theme (group of 4 or more).
