The New Year's Dash 5K Run/Walk

Event Overview

We are once again ready to welcome a new year in style! Start 2026 off right by getting your exercise on! Join us for the New Year's Day Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk on Wednesday, January 1, 2026 beginning at 9am at the Elizabethtown Sports Park (Covered pavilion, super runner-friendly course, and HEATED bathrooms)! Proceeds from this race benefit all the great community work of the Elizabethtown Lions Club.

Participant Benefits

• Hot Chocolate Mug: All runners will receive a Hot Chocolate Mug.
• Long Sleeve T-Shirt: Participants will receive a long sleeve race t-shirt (to be guaranteed a shirt on race day, participants must register by December 17, 2025).
• Prize Categories: Prizes will be awarded to the best-dressed Male and Female participants, the Most Spirited Runner, the Oldest Runner, and the Top 3 Male/Female finishers.

Dress Code

Get all dressed up in your pajamas or your New Year’s Outfit and shine like the rockstar we know you are!

Registration Information

• Grab Your Friends: Now all you need to do is grab your friends, mark your calendar, and get registered to start 2026 off right!
• Kids Registration: Kids 9 and under run for free. However, there is no t-shirt or mug. If you prefer, you can sign your child up using the paid registration link.
• Deadline: To receive a shirt on race day, register by December 17, 2025.
