West Haven Rotary 3rd Annual Turkey Trot 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join the Rotary Club of West Haven for our 3rd Annual 5K Turkey Trot and Fun Run on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024.

🎉 Purpose and Proceeds

• Motto: "Service above Self" has been our motto since we first began as a club in 1933.
• Community Impact: This is a great opportunity to come together as a community to help those school age children who are less fortunate.
• Proceeds: All proceeds, after expenses, will go to fund current and future projects such as 3rd grade dictionaries, Operation Warm Coat, scholarships for West Haven High School and Notre Dame High School, and Adult Education, First Day of School Baggies, WHEAT, and so much more!

⏰ Race Details

• Check In: Check in time starts at 8 a.m.
• Start Time: The Turkey Trot starts promptly at 9 a.m. and ends at 11 a.m.
• Course: Starting at Bradley Point along the Boardwalk to the Bird Sanctuary Parking Lot and back to Bradley Point. This has been measured and is a true 5K.
• Parking: Free parking available.

💵 Registration Information

• Fees: Registration is $30/person (ages 9+) and $15/person (ages 3-8).
• Incentive: Each early registration includes an event tee!
• Strollers: Children in strollers are not required to register.
• Pets: All ages are welcome including furbabies but must be leashed!

🎭 Costume Contest

We encourage Thanksgiving costumes and accessories! Restaurant gift cards will be given to the top 10 most original costumes!

☕ Post-Race Activities

• Treats: Come early for hot beverages, and a holiday treat!
• Photo Op: Take photos with our giant Turkey!
• Timing: This event will NOT be timed.
