Wolverine State 100

Event Overview

Trivium Racing has been dreaming of producing this epic event for years, and we’re thrilled to finally unveil our exciting new race plan. This event will feature:

• 100-Mile Ultra: A point-to-point race starting in Petoskey and concluding in Alpena.
• 100-Kilometer Ultra: Also a point-to-point race finishing in Alpena.
• 50-Kilometer Ultra: An out-and-back course from Alpena with manageable cutoffs and great running surfaces.
• Relay Option: Available for the 100-Mile race.

Course Highlights

The highlight of this course will be crossing the top of Michigan's lower peninsula from Lake Michigan to Lake Huron. Athletes will navigate:

• Diverse Terrain: Includes single-track trails, gravel roads, limestone paths, and seasonal roads.
• Rewarding Experience: Our goal is to make this event approachable for first-timers and rewarding for seasoned veterans.
• Awards: Special awards for those finishing the 100-mile race in under 24 hours.
• Generous Cutoff: Aimed at encouraging more participants to tackle the incredible course.

Support and Aid

Participants can expect frequent, well-stocked aid stations approximately every 5 to 8 miles to keep you fueled and supported throughout the race.
