🎉 Race Details

• Annual Event: The 23rd annual Frosty 5K is the 10th and final race in the 2025 RunAbout Race Series presented by Roots Realty Group.
• Proceeds: Net proceeds from this race will be donated to a charity chosen by the participants.
• Prizes: This race always has great door prizes!
• Shirts: Every 5K participant is guaranteed a long-sleeve shirt with registration on or before December 10th!

📍 Location

• Start and Finish: The start and finish are located BEHIND the Food Lion Grocery store on North Main Street in Blacksburg.
• Parking: The best place to park is at the shopping center and then walk behind the shopping center up the hill to the soccer field.
• Field Location: The field is beside the Hunter Ridge Apartments.

• Packet Pickup: Dec 23rd: 2 pm - 7 pm
• Race Day Pickup: 11:30 am - 12:45 pm
• Fun Run Start: Jingle Bell 1 Mile Fun Run Start: 12:30 pm
• 5K Start: Frosty 5K Start: 1:00 pm

🏃‍♂️ Course Information

• Course Type: The Frosty 5K is a rolling course on the bike paths and roads of the Shenandoah neighborhood.
• Finish Line: The race finishes with a short grass loop on even terrain.
• Challenging Route: The race has a fast 1st mile and a challenging last mile to help burn those holiday calories!
• Aid Station: There's an aid station just past 2 miles.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Awards: Overall and age group awards will be given out.
• Age Groups: Age groups: <= 13, 13-15, 16-17, 18-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-60, 61+

💲 Pricing

• 5K Registration: The price for the Frosty 5K is $28.00 if you register on or before November 24 and includes a long-sleeved shirt.
• Price Increase: The price increases to $30.00 after November 24 and $32 after December 16.
• Race Day Price: Race day registration is $35.00.
• Jingle Bell Mile: The Jingle Bell 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Adjust NRV is free!
