Race of The Runways 5K

🏁 Race Overview

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 16th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport. This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Join us Saturday evening, February 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM.

✨ Costume & Fun

• Dress Code: Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.
• Costume Contest: Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
• No Glow Sticks: Please, no glow sticks.

📅 Registration Details

• Pre-Race Pickup: Friday, February 27, 4:00-6:00 PM at Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
• Day of Registration: Packet Pickup on Saturday, February 28 starting at 4:15 PM.

💵 Race Fees

• Adult Fees: $40 thru February 6: $45 from February 7 - 27: $45 on the day of the race.
• 12 and Under: $20 thru February 27: $25 on race day.
• Kiddie Dash: $5 (Does not include t-shirt).

👕 Tee Shirts

Only the first 500 pre-registered runners who successfully complete the registration and payment process by February 6 will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt. There may be T-Shirts available on race day, but availability and sizes are not guaranteed. Excludes Kiddie Dash participants.

🚗 Parking Information

Free parking available at the airport.

⏱️ Timing and Scoring

Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib. See age group breakdown below.

🥇 Finisher Medals

Participants receive finisher medal.

🐶 Dogs Policy

Because this is an airport, dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.

👶 Strollers Welcome

We welcome families with strollers in the event.
