Race of The Runways 5K

Event Overview

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 16th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport. This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Join us Saturday evening, February 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM.

Costume and Fun

• Encouragement: Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.
• Costumes: Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
• Limitations: Please, no glow sticks.

Registration Information

• Packet Pickup: Friday, February 27, 4:00-6:00 PM at Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
• Day of Registration: Packet Pickup on Saturday, February 28 starting at 4:15 PM.

Race Fees

• Adults: $40 thru February 6, $45 February 7 - 27, $45 day of race.
• Children (12 and under): $20 thru February 27, $25 day of race.
• Kiddie Dash: $5 (Does not include t-shirt).

T-Shirts

Only the first 500 pre-registered runners who successfully complete the registration and payment process by February 6 will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt. There may be T-Shirts available on race day, but availability and sizes are not guaranteed. Excludes Kiddie Dash participants.

Parking

Free parking available at the airport.

Timing and Scoring

Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib.

Finisher Medals

Participants receive finisher medals.

Event Policies

• Dogs: Because this is an airport dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.
• Strollers: We welcome families with strollers in the event.
