Race of The Runways 5K

🏁 Race Overview

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 16th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport. This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Join us Saturday evening, February 28, 2026 at 5:30 PM.

🎉 Costume Contest

• Encouragement: Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.
• Costumes: Light-up costumes are encouraged.
• Prizes: Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
• Restrictions: Please, no glow sticks.

📅 Registration Information

• Packet Pick Up: Friday, February 20, 4:00-6:00 PM at Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
• Day of Registration: Packet Pick Up starts Saturday, February 21 at 4:15 PM.
• Race Fees: $35 thru January 30: $40 January 31-February 21: $45 day of race.
• Special Fees: 12 and under $20 thru February 21: $25 day of race: Kiddie Dash $5 (Does not include t-shirt).

👕 Tee Shirts

Only the first 500 pre-registered runners who successfully complete the registration and payment process by Thursday, January 30 will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt. There may be T-Shirts available on race day, but availability and sizes are not guaranteed. Excludes Kiddie Dash participants.

🚗 Parking

Free parking available at the airport.

⏱️ Timing and Scoring

Whether walking or running, participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib. See age group breakdown below.

🥇 Finisher Medals

Participants receive finisher medal.

🐕 Dogs

Because this is an airport, dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.

👶 Strollers

We welcome families with strollers in the event.
