Race of The Runways 5K

Race Overview

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to present our 17th Anniversary Race of the Runways at the Flagler Executive Airport. This is a unique evening 5K where participants run or walk along illuminated airport runways under the searchlight of a circling helicopter. Join us Saturday evening, February 27, 2027 at 5:30 PM.

Dress Code

• Glow-in-the-dark clothing: Participants are encouraged to add to the fun by wearing glow-in-the-dark clothing and accessories.
• Light-up costumes: Light-up costumes are encouraged and prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
• Glow sticks: Please, no glow sticks.

Registration Details

• Packet Pick Up: Friday, February 26, 4:00-6:00 PM at Flagler Executive Airport, 201 Airport Road, Palm Coast, FL 32164.
• Day of Registration: Packet Pick Up on Saturday, February 27 starting at 4:15 PM.
• Race Fees: $40 thru December 31, 2026: $45 January 1- February 20, 2027: $50 February 21- day of race.
• Kids Fee: 12 and under $20 thru February 27: $25 day of race.
• Kiddie Dash: $5 (Does not include t-shirt).

Tee Shirts and Parking

• Tee Shirts: All pre-registered runners who successfully complete registration and payment by January 31, 2027 will be guaranteed a free race T-shirt. Availability may vary on race day.
• Parking: Free parking available at the airport.

Race Logistics

• Timing and Scoring: Participants will be timed and scored with a disposable chip attached to their numbered Bib.
• Finisher Medals: Participants receive a finisher medal.
• Dogs: Because this is an airport, dogs are not allowed to participate in the event.
• Strollers: We welcome families with strollers in the event.
