Join us for the 4th Annual Brett J Morris Avenger Foundation PTSD and Mental Health Awareness 5K Run/Walk/Ruck and Virtual Run/Walk/Ruck. The newest studies suggest that we lose on average 44 soldiers a day to suicide. We are offering our Ruck option again this year to honor the 44 soldiers we lose daily to their internal battles. Please be sure to check the requirements for Ruck.
🕊️ About the Organization
Our organization was started in memory of 20 year Army Veteran, Brett J Morris. Brett served 8 combat tours as 3/160th Night Stalker and a combined 20yrs of service as a US Army Reservist. Brett lost his battle of PTSD, chronic pain and depression by suicide on Sept. 10, 2021. Our mission is to AVENGE the Battle Within.
- Goal: To spread awareness and hope for those suffering with PTSD.
- Proceeds: Go back to families in our military, 1st responders and athletic communities.
- Scholarships: We offer multiple athlete scholarships to our local schools.
- Community Events: Invest in social and community events to educate and bring hope.
