Chester County 5k Winter Series

Break up your winter training by testing your hard earned fitness at the 2025-2026 Chester County 5k Winter Series.

The 5k Winter Series features 5 weeks of racing and will is being held at the “PR” friendly Downingtown West High School course featuring MyLaps bibtag timing, Awards based on Age-Grading, fast accurate results, and more – all for a great low price.

RACE START: 9:00 AM 

RACE #1: Saturday, December 20th 
RACE #2: Sunday, January 11th
RACE #3: Sunday, January 25th
RACE #4: Sunday, February 15th - 5k & 10k
RACE #5: Sunday, March 8th

RACE DAY REGISTRATION:
Race day registration and bib pick up will be available at the Downingtown West in the GYM LOBBY starting approximately one hour before the 5k race.

RACE COURSE:
The course will run around the grounds of the Downingtown West and Middle School campuses.
It is extremely fast and offers a great opportunity to run a winter PR.  

AWARDS:
Top 10 Age Graded Results. Age grading is a way of putting all race participants on a level playing field, regardless of age or gender.
Race winners will receive a Gift Card provided by Bryn Mawr Running Company - West Chester. 

SERIES WINNERS - Free Pair of Shoes from Bryn Mawr Running Company (West Chester)
*** You must complete at least 3 races in the series. Top Male and Top Female will win the shoes *** 

TIMING AND RESULTS:
Results will be posted live by Chester County Racing Services.  Disposable MyLaps Bibtag system will be used to ensure quick, accurate results.

RACE CHANGES:
If, and only if, the weather is horrible and predicted to get worse would we change or cancel the event. The status of the race may be checked on our website and our Facebook / Instagram page. No refunds.
