Event Overview

Bring your human and show off your tail swagger at our annual Tailwagger Trot 5K! Bring your furry friend or come solo—everyone is welcome to join the fun! Let’s make some pawsitive memories together!

Registration Details

• Sign-Up Deadline: Register by April 14th to guarantee a race shirt & dog bandana.
• Chip Timed: Official chip timed bib will be provided.
• Late Registrations: Registrations after April 14th are not guaranteed a race shirt or dog bandana.

If Bringing Your Dog

• Responsibility: You are responsible for the actions of your dog.
• Leashing: Keep your dog leashed at all times and leashes must not exceed 6 feet. Retractable leashes are prohibited.
• Behavior: Dogs known to be aggressive toward other dogs or people may not participate.
• Health: By signing up, owners agree that their dog(s) will be up to date on all vaccinations during the event.

Awards

• Overall Finishers: Awards will be given to the overall top male, female & non-binary finishers.
• Age Group Awards: Top finishers in age groups: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-65, 66+.

Race Packet Pick Up

• Location: Lisle Recreation Center, 1925 Ohio Street, Lisle.
• Date & Time: Friday, May 1st, from 4pm-7pm.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pick Up

• Location: Lisle Bandshell Shelter, 1825 Short St, Lisle, IL 60532.
• Date & Time: Sunday, May 3rd, from 7:30am-8:30am.

Race Day Schedule

• 5K Run/Walk: 9:00am.
• Awards Ceremony: 10:15am.

Important Notes

• Post-Deadline Registration: Registrations after April 14th are not guaranteed a dog bandana, race shirt or requested size.
• Waiver Requirement: Every participant must fill out a waiver at registration.
• No In-Person Registration: Participants must register online: no in-person or mail-in registration will be offered.
• Cancellation Policy: Race officials maintain the right to cancel the event for safety due to severe weather conditions.
