Race Overview

• Location: The 13th Annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in the heart of Historic Downtown Gallatin.
• Course: The race begins at Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown streets on a primarily flat course.
• Participants: Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are welcome.
• Completion Times: 10K participants have 90 minutes: 5K participants must finish within 60 minutes.

Costume and Prizes

• Attire: Participants are encouraged to wear their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire.
• Festivities: Enjoy the festivities at the start and finish areas.
• Awards: Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race.
• Costume Awards: Awards for Best St. Patrick’s Day Costume and Most Team Spirit will be presented before the race.

About the Cause

• Beneficiary: Proceeds from the race benefit the Gallatin Chamber Foundation.
• Purpose: The Foundation encourages, promotes, and supports innovative enhancement projects in the City of Gallatin.

Helpful Tips & Important Information

• Road Closures: Roads along the race route will close between 6:45 AM and 7:00 AM.
• Parking: Parking is available along Smith Street: do not park along the race route.
• Race Shirts: Register by February 10, 2026, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
• Backpacks: Only clear backpacks are permitted during the race.
• Costume Contest: Wear your best Irish or green attire!
• Cheer Squads: Invite friends and family to cheer participants on.
• Communication: Updates will be sent to the email used at registration.
• Refunds: No refunds will be issued, but registrations may be transferred until March 11, 2026.

Start Line & Finish Times

• Arrival Time: Arrive by 6:30-6:45 AM.
• Packet Pickup: Arrive earlier to avoid lines.
• 10K Line Up: Must be ready by 7:00 AM.
• 5K Line Up: Must be ready by 7:15 AM: no one will start after 7:30 AM.
• Finish Time: All participants must complete the race by 9:00 AM.
