Gallatin Shamrock Run 5k & 10k (Tennessee)

🍀 Event Overview

The 12th annual Gallatin Shamrock Run takes place in Historic Downtown Gallatin, Tennessee on Saturday, March 8, 2025. It starts at the Gallatin City Hall and winds through beautiful downtown Gallatin. This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

• Race Types: 5K and 10K
• Course Details: The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have 90 minutes to complete the race.
• Time Limits: Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish.
• Costumes: Participants are encouraged to dress up in their most creative St. Patrick’s Day attire and to enjoy the festivities at the start/end of the race.

🎉 Awards and Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to male and female finishers after the race. Awards will be presented for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit BEFORE the race.

💰 Proceeds

Proceeds from the Race go to the Gallatin Chamber Foundation. The Gallatin Chamber Foundation is the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce’s 501(c)3 component that exists to encourage, promote, and support innovative enhancement projects and creative initiatives within the City of Gallatin.

⏰ Important Race Information

• All Participants: must complete the race by 9:00 AM.
• Road Closures: All roads included along the route will close between 6:45 am and 7:00 am!
• Arrival Time: We advise arriving by 6:30 AM - 6:45 AM at the latest.
• PARKING: is available along SMITH STREET. A parking map will be emailed to you before the race.

🚦 Race Day Logistics

• Race Registration: Participants must register by February 10, 2025, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
• Start Line: 10K needs to line up at 7:00 AM and 5K by 7:15 AM. Nobody will be permitted to start after 7:30 AM.
• Cheering: Friends and family are encouraged to cheer you along the route!
• Clear Backpacks: Only clear backpacks are allowed during the race: others are prohibited.

📅 Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick Up: Friday, March 7th, 10 am to 5 pm, and 6:15 am on Saturday, March 8th. Location: The Station, (Gallatin Chamber of Commerce) 117 W Main Street, Gallatin, Tennessee. This is a NEW LOCATION.

❗️ Refund Policy

No refunds will be issued for this event: however, you may transfer your registration to someone else through March 5, 2025. In case of inclement weather, an email will be sent to the registrant's email.
