🏥 Nicklaus Children's Hospital - and be part of a GROWing solution!

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: April 13, 2025
• Location: Tropical Park, Miami, FL
• Purpose: To increase awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
• Contribution: Helps raise funds for underserved children with rare growth disorders.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Participation

• Inclusivity: All ages and all walks of life are encouraged to participate.
• Registration Benefits: Each registered participant receives a Finisher Medal, event tee shirt, food, and refreshments.

🕒 Race Day Schedule

• 7:00 am: Race Day registration and packet-pickup
• 7:45 am: Pre-race warm-up
• 8:00 am: 5K Run/Walk Starts
• 10:00 am: Event Ends

⏱️ Timing

• Timing: The event will be timed (conventional timing).
• Course: The course is paved.

☀️ Heat Warning

• Precaution: Temperature/humidity can be high in South Florida. Participants should drink plenty of fluids.
• Symptoms: Beware of heat-injury symptoms (Dizziness, no sweating, nausea, cramps, redness, incoherent speech and thoughts).
• Clothing: Wear loose, light-colored clothing.

• Consent: By registering, you consent to having your photo or video taken for promotional purposes.

🏆 Awards

• Categories: Fastest male and female awards for age groups 10 and under, 11-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-55, 56 and over.

💡 Purpose of the Event

• Awareness: Increase awareness of childhood growth disorders.
• Funding: Raise funds for underserved children to access care and treatment.

🅿️ Parking

• Location: Free parking at Tropical Park (7900 SW 40th St, Miami, FL 33155).

🥤 Food and Refreshments

• Provided: Water, Hydration Drinks, and light snacks will be available.

🐕 Pets

• Policy: Leashed dogs who do well in large crowds are welcome.
