Foundation Background
- In Memory: The Kayla Bernardi Bee Positive Foundation was started after Kayla lost her battle to leukemia in 2015.
- Legacy: As a family, we choose to stay focused on the positive and make a difference in our community.
- Inspiration: Kayla’s nickname was Busy Bee, so it was a natural name to attach to her foundation.
- Community Support: We raise money to spread throughout the community in her foundation's name, inspired to continue her legacy.
Event Activities
- Fun Run/Walk: Join us for a GREAT time participating in a fun run/walk that embraces the spirit of Kayla.
- Post-Run Event: Keep the BEE Positive vibe going with the POST RUN BEE POSITIVE PARTY AT DUST BOWL BREWERY.
- Date and Time: Join us in Dust Bowl’s Turlock Beer Garden on January 25th, 2025, from 11am-2pm.
- Special Offers: The first 250 participants 21 and older with a bib from the 2025 Fun Run/Walk will get one complimentary beer or seltzer.
Additional Information
- Under 21: Participants under 21 can enjoy a free soda or hop water.
- Food and Drinks: A food trailer and outdoor bar will also be open for the occasion.
- Special Brew: Partake in a special edition Bizzy BEE beer brewed especially for this event!
