🐝 The Kayla Bernardi BEE Positive Fun Run Walk

The Kayla Bernardi Bee Positive Foundation was started after Kayla lost her battle to leukemia in 2015. As a family we choose to stay focused on the positive and make a difference in our community. Kayla's nickname was Busy Bee and so it was a natural name to attach to her foundation. We raise money to spread throughout the community in her foundations name. We hope that attaching a "Bee Positive" message inspired people beyond the monetary donation. Losing Kayla continues to pain us in a way that is indescribable, raising funds in her name inspires us to continue her legacy and "Bee Positive" even on the hardest of days. Kayla’s birthday was January 31st, so every year we do a 5K Fun Run Walk to honor her legacy and raise money to spread throughout many communities.

🎊 Post Run Celebration

Come out and have a GREAT time participating in a fun run/walk that will embrace the spirit of Kayla. After the run, we will keep the BEE Positive vibe going with the POST RUN BEE POSITIVE PARTY AT DUST BOWL BREWERY.

• Location: Dust Bowl’s Turlock Beer Garden
• Date & Time: January 25th, 2025, from 11 am - 2 pm
• Activities: Music, corn hole, and a BEE Positive vibe
• Complimentary Offer: First 250 participants 21 and older with a bib from the 2025 Fun Run/Walk will get one complimentary beer or seltzer: participants under 21 can enjoy a free soda or hop water.

The food trailer, and outdoor bar will also be open for the occasion. Partake in a special edition Bizzy BEE beer brewed especially for this event!
