🎉 Event Overview
- Charity Benefit: The METAvivor 5k will benefit the METAvivor Charity which supports metastatic breast cancer research, support, and awareness.
- Proceeds: 100% of proceeds after race expenses will be donated to METAvivor.
- Focus on Research: METAvivor focuses on research efforts to render Stage IV breast cancer as a survivable condition.
- Underfunded Research: Research for Stage IV, the stage in which breast cancer kills, is hugely underfunded.
🕙 Race Details
- Start Time: The in-person run will start at 10am.
- Chip Timing: Runners will be chip timed from the moment they start to the moment they finish the race!
- Bib Pickup: Bib Pickup will begin at 9:15am on 1/25/2025.
- Registration Fees: Registration for the in-person run is $20 through 1/18/2025: $25 from 1/19/2025 through race day.

🏆 Awards
- Top Finishers: Top 1st place overall Male and Female.
- Award Timing: Awards will be based on In Person Run chip times.
- Ceremony Time: There will be an awards ceremony this year around 10:45am.
- Age Group Medals: Medals will be given out for the top 3 male and female in age groups: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
🍏 Amenities
- Course: Flattest possible course on the scenic paved main multi-use trail at Ridley Creek State Park.
- Starting Point: Race will begin at Picnic Area 17 and follow an out and back.
- Post-Race Snacks: Bottled water, bananas, apples, oranges, Chick-fil-A Lima coffee, pretzels, granola bars and more will be available at the end of the race.
