Bring your friends and family and come join us for a FAST, EASY, and FUN one mile walk/run hosted by the Dahlonega Sunrise Rotary Club. The 5th Annual Wimpy Mile on Feb 14th, 2026, is an iconic event, boasting a 178' DROP in elevation from start to finish.
📍 Course Details
- Starting Point: Hancock Park in downtown Dahlonega.
- Coffee Course: Certified mile course moves downhill along Wimpy Mill Rd.
- Finish Line: Yahoola Reservoir boat ramp.
- Participants: Serious runners, joggers, walkers, families, and four-legged friends welcome!
🎭 Costume Celebration
Come in costume if you'd like, to celebrate the February holidays!
🏆 Awards & Recognition
- Awards Presentation: Join us back at Hancock Park after the race.
- Transportation: Available for participants who choose not to walk the return mile.
- Prize Reward: A $1,000 prize sponsored by Rotarian David Robertson!
- Challenge: Awarded to the first runner to finish in under four minutes!
