Saline Merry Mile

🎉 Welcome to the Saline Merry Mile

The SALINE MERRY MILE presented by Ann Arbor Running Company and Concept Insurance Agency is a 1-mile race/run on Michigan Avenue in downtown Saline. The race kicks off at just after the tree lighting and will run along the annual holiday parade route assuring that there is a cheering section for all participants!

🌟 Registration Information

Register by November 20th to receive a long-sleeved race t-shirt!!

• Free Registration: Registered adults can register up to 2 runners, 10 years old or younger, to join them on the course for free.
• Giveaways: Younger athletes will receive all of the race giveaways (long sleeve t-shirt, etc.).

📍 Course Details

The race will start at 5:30 PM, once the tree is lit, and will be completed no later than 6:00 PM to assure that the holiday parade can start on time. The race will begin at the 4 corners (Ann Arbor Street and Michigan Avenue) and run east on Michigan Ave until a turnaround point just before Old Creek/Maple. Once the runners turn around, they will head west on Michigan Avenue until they reach the finish line, west of the 4 corners. The race is noted for its downhill start and finish. This is the only opportunity to run on Michigan Ave as the road is only closed 2 times per year.

The proceeds of this race will benefit The Friends of Saline Cross Country, a non-profit organization made up of present and former parents of Saline High School cross country runners, coaches, alumni and friends of the program who raise funds to support the Saline cross country program and provide scholarships to SHS cross country runners. Even if you cannot participate, we welcome donations via this site.
