💖 Valentine's Day Race Overview

It's time for our Valentine's Day 5k, 10k, 15k, Half Marathon fun run/walk!!!

📅 Event Schedule

• Check-in: 7-7:30 AM for everyone
• Start: 7:30 AM
• Half Marathon Cut Off: 10:45 AM
• Early Start: Email for early start at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com

📍 Location Details

Address - Please check in at the tables closest to 54th Place, at the start of the beach path. NOT near Claremont Ave. Long Beach path in Belmont Shores -- 5400 E. Ocean Blvd. Long Beach, CA 90803 (off of 54th Place and Ocean Blvd.). Please do not use Apple Maps app as a GPS, use the Google Maps or Waze app. There is a photo of the map on the website -- www.abetterworldrunning.com

🚗 Parking and Arrival

• Carpooling: PLEASE PLAN ON CARPOOLING AND GETTING THERE EARLY TO FIND PARKING AND USE THE RESTROOM.
• Restrooms: Bring toilet paper as beach restrooms are not always fully stocked early in the morning.
• Results: All participants will have their results posted with their names and times.
• Free Photos: Pictures for everyone posted on our Facebook page after the event!

🏃‍♂️ Race Routes

• 5k: out and back route link
• 10k: 2 x 5k loops
• 15k: 3 x 5k loops
• Half Marathon: 3 x 4.36 mi loop link

🏆 Finisher Medals and Results

• Finishers: ALL finishers get a medal.
• Results Posting: All results will be posted after the event on our website usually the evening of the event on www.abetterworldrunning.com.
• Free Photos: Available on our Facebook page -- www.facebook.com/abetterworldrunning.
• Official Times: Will be posted on our website: www.abetterworldrunning.com.

⚠️ Important Notes

• No Refunds: NO REFUNDS NO BANDITS.
• Stroller Policy: Running/walking with a stroller is allowed.
• Half Marathon Time Limit: 3:15 time limit. If more time is needed, please email us at abetterworldrunning@yahoo.com for early start.
• Charity Support: ABWR has teamed up with two local charities to help with fire relief efforts. Portion of proceeds will go to California Community Foundation link and Pasadena Humane Society link.
