Anaheim Santa Ana River Trail Turkey Trot 5K/10K

Run up a Thanksgiving appetite at this year’s Anaheim Santa Ana River Trail Turkey Trot! Caren Ware Events brings you the ultimate race bling and the best holiday-themed motivation to stay healthy and active. Enjoy a scenic run along the paved Santa Ana River Trail and finish with a view of the iconic “Big A” of Angel Stadium.

Event Location

• Location: Just north of Katella & S Douglas Road on the Santa Ana River Trail, between Angel Stadium and the Honda Center.
• Closest Address: 2610 E. Katella Ave, Anaheim, CA 92806 (former JT Schmid location).

What Each Participant Receives

• Collectibles: A collectible themed turkey shirt, beanie, or stuffed event turkey
• Medals: A custom cast Turkey finisher medal or a choice of race beanie
• Timing: Chip timing by ITZABOUTTIME with age division awards (3-deep per 5-year span)
• Treats: A fresh slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream at the finish
• Camaraderie: Fun, camaraderie, and holiday cheer with music, decorations, and photo ops!

Race Day Schedule

• Registration: 6:30 – 8:00 AM: Registration & walk-up packet pick-up
• Warm-up Session: 7:50 AM: Warm-up session
• Rolling Start: 7:55 – 8:10 AM: Rolling start for 5K & 10K (must start by 8:10 AM)
• Fun Run Start: 8:11 AM: 1-Mile Fun Run start
• Awards: 9:00 AM: 5K Awards Ceremony (top overall & age divisions) and 9:30 AM: 10K Awards Ceremony
• All participants must wear the correct bib on the front for proper scoring.

Early Packet Pickup

You may pick up packets for others: no ID required.

Race Day Pickup: 6:30 AM at registration booth near start/finish

Course Information

• Location: Santa Ana River Trail, Anaheim (paved, multi-use trail)
• Scenery: Enjoy views of Angel Stadium along the way
• Shared Path: Shared path with cyclists, walkers, and dog walkers
• Safety: Stay right, allow space for others, and follow public path rules
• Pro Tip: Write what you’re thankful for on your race bib!

Parking Information

• Designated Parking: Angel Stadium back lot (adjacent to Transit Center) – $10 race day cash pay to attendant or make payment via zelle carenfasttrack@:aol.com or venmo caren-Ware-1 have proof to show attendants. Or prepay when registering.
• Entry: Enter via Douglas Way off Katella
• Proof: Proof of parking payment required (show attendant your digital parking pass, run signup payment receipt, or pay cash)
• Additional Parking: Limited additional parking at Transit Center Lot B

Restrooms

• Availability: Public restrooms available at the Transit Center
• Options: Limited porta-potties at start/finish and near the 1-mile mark

• Age Division Awards: 1–7, 8–10, 11–14, 15–19, 20–24, 25–29, 30–34, 35–39, 40–44, 45–49, 50–54, 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, 70–74, 75–79, 80–84, 85+
• Top Awards: Top overall male & female in 5K, 10K, and 1-Mile Fun Run

Additional Details

• Food: Street tacos and tamales served at the finish line (vouchers available to be pre-purchased online)
• Finish Medals: Finisher medals handed out immediately at finish option of beanie (limited quantity)
• Weather: Event takes place rain or shine
