📝 Race Day Registration:

• Onsite Registration: Available from 8:00 to 8:45 AM.
• Cost: $40 (5K) or $50 (7.45 Mile) — please make checks payable to KRR.
• Shirt Availability: Race day registration does not include a race shirt or sweatshirt.

🏅 Packet Pickup:

• Pickup Time: 8:00 am to 8:45 am on race day.
• Contents: Packet will include your bib, shirt, and pins.
• Pickup Location: Kickapoo State Park Maintenance Building.

📍 Location:

• Park Name: Kickapoo State Recreation Area.
• Directions: Take I-74 to exit 210 and follow the signs to the park.
• Address: 10906 Kickapoo Park Rd, Oakwood IL 61858.

🕒 Race Time Limit:

• Limit: None, just have fun.
• 5K Start Time: 9:15 AM.
• 7.45 Mile Start Time: 9:00 AM.

🏞️ Course Overview:

• Distance: The 7.45 mile course is 95% trail.
• Terrain: You'll climb and descend steep hills, cross creeks and bridges.
• Wildlife: If lucky, you may see some deer and other wildlife.
• Experience: A scenic and challenging run awaits.

⛑️ Aid Stations:

• Location: One aid station approximately 2 miles into the course.
• Hydration: Supplied with liquid hydration.
• Second Station: Another aid station right after 4 miles.

📋 Race Day Regulation Reminders:

• Restrictions: NO BANDITS · NO RADIOS or HEADPHONES · NO STROLLERS · NO DOGS.
• Mail Policy: NO AWARDS OR SHIRTS MAILED.
• Refund Policy: NO REFUNDS OR BIB TRANSFERS.
• Drawing: MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN DRAWING.

🏕️ Camping Update:

• Campgrounds: Two major campgrounds for tent and trailer camping with 184 sites.
• Utilities: About half of the sites have electrical hookups.
• Facilities: Two shower buildings and a sanitary dump station available.
