Guns and Hoses 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Date: February 8, 2025
• Location: Hobgood Park, 6688 Bells Ferry Rd, Woodstock, GA
• Host: Cherokee Recreation and Parks
• Purpose: Raise money for charity causes selected by both groups, Guns & Hoses.

🎗️ Charities Supported

• Guns: The charity for Cherokee Sheriff's Office is the Charlie Ferguson Community Center, serving after-school programs, senior activities, and more.
• Hoses: The charity for the Cherokee County Fire Department is the Goshen Valley Boys Ranch, a non-profit home for young men in the foster care system.
• Registration: Runners can select their team during registration, with a portion of the fee going to the chosen charity.
• Leashed Dogs: Dogs are welcome at the event!

📝 Registration Details

• Day Of Registration: Available at the event starting at 7:00 am, race starts at 8:00 am.
• Packet Includes: T-shirt while supplies last, running bib, and other goodies.
• Packet Pick-Up: Available at Woodstock Recreation Center on February 6th and 7th, and on race day at Hobgood Park.
• Note: If registering after 5:00 pm on February 7th, go to the Day of Registration table at Hobgood Park.

🏆 Awards

• Overall Male and Female Winner: Recognition for top finishers.
• Medals: Awarded to the top three male and female finishers in all age groups.
• Age Groups: Awards for age groups include: 10 and under, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55, 56-60, 61-65, 66-70, and 71+

🌦️ Weather Policy

• Conditions: The race will take place rain or shine, unless conditions are deemed unsafe by elected officials.
