Event Details

• Description: Start your Thanksgiving morning on the right foot at the Island Rec Center’s annual Turkey Trot 5K! This festive run is perfect for families, friends, and runners of all levels. Come dressed in your best turkey attire and enjoy a scenic course, great company, and a little pre-feast fitness.
• Route: The race begins in the Boathouse parking lot, winds into Hilton Head Plantation and turns around to finish at the start.
• Tradition: Make it a tradition, bring your gratitude and your running shoes, and join us for a morning of fun before the feast!

Registration Information

• Early Bird Registration: $35 until September 15, 2026. Price increases to $40 on September 16.
• Late Registration: $50 on November 1, so register early to save your spot (and your dollars). Includes a race shirt, finisher medal, and entry to the afterparty!
• Capacity: This race will sell out so secure your spot now.

Packet Pickup and Donations

• Packet Pickup: Wednesday, Nov 25, 10 AM–6 PM at Island Rec Center.
• Food Donations: We’ll be collecting canned and pantry items for The Deep Well Project at and on race day.

Race Day Parking

• Parking Locations: Available at Mt. Calvary Church and the Dockside/Hudson’s parking lots.
• Parking Rules: No roadside parking—please follow all parking attendants for everyone’s safety.

• Pets: No pets allowed.
• Strollers: Strollers are welcome but must start at the back of the pack.
