Race Overview
The Red Coyote 16 week Half/Full Marathon Training Program and 8 week Quarter Marathon Training Program are designed to help you train for the Oklahoma City Memorial Marathon on April 26, 2026 but can be used to train for any spring event. Whether you're attempting your first distance run or shooting for a new PR, there is a place for you in our Pack and all abilities are welcome! We'll help you achieve your goal safely by a gradual and strategic increase in training mileage.
- Informative Clinics: There will be informative clinics and guest speakers to give advice and instruction on various topics.
- Pace Group Coaches: We have more than 60 experienced pace group coaches who will support and motivate you.
- Meet and Greet: There will be a meet and greet for all participants on Sunday, January 4th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm.
- Location: The events will be held at Red Coyote Classen Curve, 5720 N. Classen Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK.
Half/Full Marathon Training
The 16 week Half/Full Marathon Training Program will begin Tuesday, January 6th at 6:00pm. Tuesday evening runs will either originate from the Red Coyote Classen Curve store or offsite at some of the best running locations in the metro area!
- First Group Long Run: Our first Sunday morning group long run will be at the Red Coyote Classen Curve store on January 11th at 6:00am/6:30am.
- Sunday Run Schedule: Most Sunday runs will start at the Red Coyote Classen Curve store.
- Exception Dates: February 1st & March 15th will start at the Oklahoma City National Memorial.
- OYO Day: The only day we won't meet in person is Sunday, April 5th which is Easter.
Quarter Marathon Training
The 8 week Quarter Marathon Training Program will begin Tuesday, March 3rd at 6:00pm. The group will meet at the same time and location as the half/full group but will have their own separate mileage schedule.
- Sunday Runs: Sunday runs will begin at 7:00am and will be at the Red Coyote Classen Curve store.
- Exception Dates: March 15th, March 29th, and April 12th will have alternate starting locations.
- OYO Day: The only day we won't meet in person is Sunday, April 5th which is Easter.
- Individual Mileage Schedule: The Quarter Marathon group will have its own mileage schedule.

We offer the following Pace Groups to assist in meeting and exceeding your goals:
- 7-8: Full, Half & Quarter
- 8-9: Full, Half & Quarter
- 9-10: Full, Half & Quarter
- 10-11: Full, Half & Quarter

Program Details
- Cost: These programs are FREE again this season!
- Materials Provided: You'll receive a welcome email, training handbook, and access to a private Facebook group page.
- Informational Meeting: Questions? Come to our informational meeting on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:00 PM.
- Zoom Option: There will be a Zoom option for those unable to meet in person.

Meet and Greet
There will be a meet and greet for all participants on Sunday, January 4th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at the Red Coyote Classen Curve location. This is a great chance to meet the coaches and fellow participants!
- Commemorative T-shirt: You have the option to pre-purchase a commemorative Training Program short sleeve performance t-shirt during registration for $15.00.
- Shirt Availability: The shirts will be printed once registration closes and I'll send notification when they are available for pick up.
