2025 Great North Run & Fitness Fair

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Join us on Saturday, March 8th at 9:00am for the 2025 Great North Run &: Fitness Fair! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a power walker, or just looking for a fun, family-friendly community activity, this event is for you!

• Participants: All ages and abilities are welcome.
• Choices: Participants can choose between the 5k or 1k Family Fun Run.
• Finish Line: After crossing the finish line, enjoy dozens of area vendors and interactive activities for the whole family.
• Location: The event will take place at North Central High School.

⏰ Start Times

• 5k: 9:00am (Option to be timed)
• Fun Run: 9:15am (Untimed Only) The Family Fun Run is a 1K (10 minute walk–5-7 minute run) that begins and ends next to North Central.
• Fun Stations: Enjoy interactive, family-friendly, and fun stations along the way!

🎭 Costume Contest

Dress up for a chance to win prizes for the best costumes! Upon arrival, check in at The Sanctuary tent outside of Door 24 to enter the costume contest. Winners will be announced at the Fitness Fair after races conclude.

• Categories: Prizes for the best costumes will be awarded in the following categories:
• Most creative: Show off your imaginative outfits.
• Best dressed family: Bring your family's best costume ideas!
• Most school spirit: Represent your school with pride!
• Best dressed team: (5 or more to qualify) Gather your friends!
