5K Green Run - Riverbend Park

🌿 Event Overview

Join us for our annual 5K Green Run or 1 mile Nature Run in beautiful Riverbend Park - our race to save the environment and empower a cleaner brighter future!

🏞️ Organizer Information

• Presented by: Partnership for Environmental Education (PFEE) - an all volunteer non-profit organization.
• Supports: Jupiter Environmental Research and Field Studies Academy (JERFSA) - a stellar public high school environmental science "choice program" open to students in Palm Beach County.
• Established: JERFSA has been preparing our next generation of leaders in environmental science since 1993.
• Community Impact: Through their participation, students are continually giving back to our community on many levels.

🌱 Student Contributions

• Marine Life Surveying: Involvement in surveying local marine life.
• Native Plant Species: Reintroduction of native plant species.
• Wetlands Project: Construction of a wetlands project.
• Community Service: Students are required to provide extensive community service hours over their four years in the program.
