The race also honors Cherokee Nation citizen Andy Payne, who won the International Trans-Continental Footrace in 1928, running 3,423 miles along Route 66 from Los Angeles to New York City. The awards ceremony at the MOH will be a fun-filled event with free massages for runners from Reset Chiropractic, teas from 6:19 Nutrition, food trucks, selfie spots, popcorn, snacks and more! Visitors can take a photo with the Andy Payne statue next to the museum and learn more about Andy at the Andy Payne exhibit inside the museum.
Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell and Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Jr. will be our honorary guests.
