Fairmount 5k

Event Overview

We are excited to host this year's 5k at Fairmount Elementary! This year, following the 5k run, walk and fun run we invite you to stay and visit with your friends while enjoying music and treats. All students, staff, friends, family and the Fairmount community are encouraged to join in on the fun! The event will be Sunday, April 19th, 2026 from 8:30am to 11:30am. Top medals will be given at 9:45am.

Participation Details

• FunRun Inclusion: If you participate in the run or walk you may join in the FunRun at no additional cost.
• Art and Slogan: This year's artwork is by 2nd grader Izabella Morelles and our slogan is by 3rd grader Arthur Rodgers!
• Motivational Phrase: Run like a Firebird, You Must!!
• Purpose: Join us as we run, jog, walk, and donate to raise money for student and teacher resources at Fairmount Elementary School.

Items of Note for This Year

• Location: The event will be held at Fairmount Elementary School.
• Refreshments: We will have fruit, water, and muffins available for everyone.
• Food Options: There will be multiple food carts & promotional booths including:
  • Pambosos (Fairmount Family) serving breakfast burritos and french toast sticks
  • Traveling Tom's Coffee
  • Kona Ice
• Pancake Breakfast: We will not be including a pancake breakfast with entry this year. We will have the above noted food carts instead.

• Overall: Top 3
• Age Groups by Gender: Top 3: under 7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-15, 16-19, 20-40, 40+
• Costume Awards: Top 3 Costumes
