Olympia Lakefair Races - Half Marathon, 8K & 3K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Anniversary: 2026 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Olympia Races, which are part of a weekend-long running festival.
• Races: Features the Jerry Miller Half Marathon, an 8K, and a 3K including free entry for Kids 14 and under.
• Routes: Taking runners on routes that will circle around the town of Olympia and beyond into Tumwater and Thurston County.
• Date: The event takes place on July 18, 2026.

📍 Course Details

• Start/Finish: All three races start and finish on 5th Avenue in front of Heritage Park.
• Course Features: The 3K and 8K events circle Capitol Lake, with the 8K continuing into Tumwater Historical Park.
• Flat Courses: Both the 3K and 8K are flat and fast courses.
• Half Marathon Path: The Jerry Miller Half Marathon heads through downtown Olympia, along the Woodland Trail, and the Chehalis Western Trail biking paths.

🎉 Awards and Festival Activities

• Awards Ceremony: Once runners complete the course, there is an awards ceremony with several raffle awards.
• Age Group Awards: Age group awards available for participants up to 90+ for all three races.
• Festival Events: Participants, family, and friends can enjoy festival activities around Heritage Park, including food and beer tents, carnival rides, and booths.
• Hospitality Sponsor: Well80, the events hospitality sponsor, will also be open for meals a few blocks from the finish line.
