- Annual Event: Please join us on Thanksgiving for our Annual Run Turkey Run 5K.
- Community Spirit: A long-standing Thanksgiving tradition in Hamden, there is no better way to start your Thanksgiving Day than running or walking a 5K with family, friends and the community.
- Fun Theme: Make it a 4-F day – Family, Food, Football & a Five K.
- Dress Up: We encourage you to dress for the occasion, from turkey hats to tutus and even full turkey and pilgrim costumes.
👟 Participation Details
- All Welcome: Whether this is your first 5K or you have done this race every year, we welcome you.
- Family-Friendly: It’s sure to be fun for all ages and a great way to get in a little exercise before the eating begins.
- Early Start: Our race begins nice and early (7:30 am) so it won’t interfere with any of the day’s other activities.
- Costumes: Dress up in festive attire for extra fun!
