Help Arizona residents build a better and brighter future while they journey life with Spina Bifida!

Spina Bifida is the most common permanently disabling birth condition, yet the state of Arizona does not recognize it as a developmental disability after the age of six. These children experience lack of care continuity, often have as many as 30 surgeries by the age of 15, and are usually full time wheelchair users.

Heels 4 Wheels is raising funds to assist with programs and services to fill in the gaps in the current care model. Most babies born today with Spina Bifida will live well into adulthood and desire to achieve independence both financially and domestically.

Tie up your running shoes and be a part of making it happen in Arizona!

Children ages 5 and under in a stroller are free and no registration is required. If your children would like the race swag then you will need to register them.

📝 Mail-in and Virtual Registration

• Mail Registration: To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form!
• Virtual Race: A virtual race can be ran at any location. You can walk, use the treadmill, run outside or participate in another race.
• Finisher's Medal: All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt.
• US Address: Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. Contact info@startlineracing.com for inquiries from outside the US.

• Age Group Awards: Top Three in all Age Groups for the 5K event only. Age groups include 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Older.
• Runner's Brunch: Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc).

🎉 Race Day Information

• Packet Pickup: Race Day packet pickup will be available beginning at 7:00 AM at Riparian Preserve.
• Payment: We accept cash and credit cards on race day: checks are no longer accepted.
• Registration Fees: 5K - $45: 1 Mile - $35.
• Participation: We welcome wheelchairs, strollers, wagons, and leashed pets!
