Chilly Dog 5K Race/1 Mile Run for (10 and under) and 1 Mile Fun Walk for Families

🚂 Race Day Update

A few Day of notes for the Chilly Dog 5K race and I mile runners and walkers!

📍 Registration Details

• Location: Registration takes place at the Northern Central Railway station, 117 N. Front St. New Freedom Pa. 17349.
• Time: Registration opens at 8:45. Please arrive no later than 9:30 for registration.
• Train Departure: The train will leave promptly at 10:00am.
• Facilities: Bathrooms are open inside the train station, and after you register, you may sit on the train and stay warm.

🚶‍♂️ Race Journey

Enjoy a train ride North with stops at 1 mile for 10 and under runners and fun walkers, then at 3.1 miles for racers. All head back on foot to New Freedom finish line at the train station.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• Categories: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies will be awarded after the race for runners only.
• Start Time: The race start time is 11:30am.
• Parking: There is street parking and some lot parking around the train station: arrive early to allow for walking distance to registration.

🎟️ Raffle Information

• Support: We are having a great raffle supporting the Northern Central Railway and First Fruit.
• Participation: Wonderful prizes donated by the Rail Trail Merchants Network!
• Tickets: Bring an extra $20.00 for your 5 tickets.
• Location: If you plan to win one of our great raffle prizes, plan on joining us at Vortex Brewing Company for the raffle draw after the trophy awards!
