Gene Parks Annual 5K Walk/Run

Event Overview

If you enjoy running or walking, come join the fun and be a part of the Russiaville Race!

Registration Details

• Pre-registration: You may pre-register to assure that you receive a towel.
• Day-of Registration: You can register on the day of the race.
• Sign-in Time: Sign-ins are from 8:30-9:15am on race day.
• Location: Sign-ins take place at the Russiaville Lions Club at 555 North Liberty.

Race Schedule

• 5K Start Time: The 5K begins promptly at 9:15am.
• Fun Run Start Time: The 1 Mile Fun Run will follow at 10:15am.
• Medals: All runners in the Fun Run ages 12 &: under will receive a medal.
• Course Description: The course heads south of Russiaville and curves back.

Towels Distribution

• Pre-registered Runners: Towels will be given to pre-registered runners/walkers first.
• Availability: Towels will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

Community Partnership

• Partner Organization: We are proud to partner with Ainsley’s Angels of America.
• Mission: Ainsley's Angels aims to build awareness about America’s special needs community through inclusion.
• Advocacy: They serve as advocates to provide education and participation as active members in their local communities.
• Free Riding: ALL RIDERS RIDE FREE IN BOTH RACES.

Fundraising Purpose

Funds raised from both race registrations will be split between Ainsley's Angels and the Carl Koontz Scholarship Fund.
