Ranch Run Half Marathon, 5K, 1 mile fun run - 9th Annual

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Get off the pavement and come explore the Big Sky on this county road race on the Geyser Cutoff Road between Geraldine and Geyser, Montana. Explore the hidden treasures in your own backyard as you run through the hills and onto the prairie finishing the race on Main Street, Geraldine, Montana!!

🌄 Race Details

• Terrain: The race is on a gravel, country road so strollers with big tires are recommended.
• Scenery: Beautiful Central Montana scenery featuring Square Butte and Round Butte mountains.
• Wildlife: Keep your eyes out for deer, antelope, elk, coyotes, cows, and maybe snakes!
• Fun Run: Our 1 mile fun run loops around town, offering glimpses of the butte and a nearly full tour of town.

🍻 Post-Race Festivities

We will have post-race craft beer sponsored by Joyce Fuel & Feeds, ice cream & specialty coffee sponsored by Milk & Honey and Fresh Start Co-op, and vendors for food during and following the race. Enjoy the day with all of those attending the Geraldine Fun Day!

🗓️ Registration and Schedule

• Packet Pickup: Half marathon: 6:30 a.m. to 7:15 a.m. 5K: 7:15 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
• Bus Departure: Half Marathon at 7:30 a.m., 5K at 8:30 a.m.
• Race Times: Half Marathon @ 8:15 a.m., 5K @ 9:00 a.m., 1 mile Fun Run @ 10:45 a.m.
• Shirts: Sign up by June 6th to guarantee a shirt on race day or arrange to pick it up from Kalyn at a later date (no mail delivery for late sign up).

🏆 Awards

• Categories: 1st -3rd place finishers in Youth (12 under), Junior (13-18) and Adult (19+) divisions for the 5K and Half Marathon.
• Additional Awards: Awards for 1st place age group winners (additional divisions).
• Ceremony: Award Ceremony at 11:15 a.m.
• Please ensure that we have your correct mailing address at registration.

👨‍👩‍👧 Important Notes

If you are already signed up to run a race (5k / Half) and then would like to run the Fun Run with your child(ren) or others - please do not sign up a second time. Only sign up the new runners and select a shirt for them ONLY. Shirts to participants only.
