Ruidoso Runfest

🏃‍♀️ Ruidoso Runfest Overview

• Event: inaugural Ruidoso Runfest where the weekend will include running, local bands, food trucks and Downshift Brewing Company beer garden.
• Family Friendly: Hosted by the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation dept.
• Kickoff: Friday night starts with the Pizza Hut 5K and Kids 1K fun run at Wingfield Park.
• Awards: Finish line will host awards for 5K along with music, post-race food, and beer garden.

🗓️ Dates and Times

• Packet Pick Up: For All Events at Wingfield Park on Friday, July 18th from 2 pm to 6 pm and Saturday, July 19th from 5 am to 6:45 am.
• 5K and Kids 1K: Pizza Hut 5K and Kids 1K Run on Friday, July 18, 2025, with 5k starting at 6 pm and Kids Mini Pizza Run at 6:45 pm.
• 47K/50K: The 47K / 50K starts at 6 am on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
• Marathon and Half Marathon: Marathon starts at 7 am, Half Marathon begins at 7:30 am, course closes at 2 pm on Saturday.

📍 Event Locations

• Start and Finish: All events will start and finish at Wingfield Park.
• Virtual Options: Available for the Marathon, Half Marathon, and 5K.
• Virtual Instructions: First, register then print your personalized bib number, pick up your t-shirt, then run, walk or roll your distance.
• Results Upload: After completing your distance, upload your results by clicking on the Results tab on the registration page.

💰 Fees

• 5K: $24 until March 31: $29 from April 1 to May 15: $34 from May 16 to June 30: $40 from July 1 to July 17: $45 at Packet Pick-up.
• Kids Run: $10 until March 31: $12 from April 1 to May 15: $14 from May 16 to June 30: $20 from July 1 to July 17: $25 at Packet Pick-up.
• Half Marathon: $65 until March 31: $70 from April 1 to May 15: $75 from May 16 to June 30: $75 from July 1 to July 17: $90 at Packet Pick-up.
• Full Marathon: $75 until March 31: $85 from April 1 to May 15: $90 from May 16 to June 30: $95 from July 1 to July 18: $105 at Packet Pick-up.

🏅 Awards

• Participation: All Race participants receive a commemorative medal and custom shirt.
• 5K Awards: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear. Age group awards for 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 24, etc.
• Marathon/Half Marathon Awards: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear.
• 47K Awards: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear: unique swag for participants.

🔔 Important Notes

• 47K/50K Limit: Limited to the first 50 registrants: starts 1 hour before the marathon with a 2 pm cutoff time.
• Headlamps: Strongly suggested for the 47K/50K.
• Unique Swag: Includes a Long-sleeved shirt, Trucker Cap, and custom medal for 47K/50K finishers.
• Book Early: Don’t miss this weekend and book your rooms early!
