Ruidoso Runfest

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview:

Join us for the inaugural Ruidoso Runfest where the weekend will include running, local bands, food trucks and Downshift Brewing Company beer garden. This will be a family friendly weekend hosted by the Village of Ruidoso Parks & Recreation dept.

• Kickoff Event: Friday night starts with the Pizza Hut 5K and Kids 1K fun run.
• Finish Line Activities: Awards for 5K along with music, post race food, and beer garden.
• Marathon Events: Saturday will feature the 6th running of the Ruidoso Marathon and Half Marathon.
• Unique Challenge: The State-Forty-Seven Road 47K/50K presented by Bluebird Running.

Packet Pick Up For All Events at Wingfield Park:

• Friday, July 18th: 2 pm to 6 pm
• Saturday, July 19th: 5 am to 6:45 am

5K and Kids 1K Run 🏅

• Event Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
• 5K Start Time: 6 pm
• Kids Mini Pizza Run: 6:45 pm

🚀 47K/50K, Marathon and Half Marathon:

• Event Date: Saturday, July 19, 2025
• 47K / 50K Start Time: 6 am
• Marathon Start Time: 7 am
• Half Marathon Start Time: 7:30 am
• Course Closure: 2 pm on Saturday

📦 Virtual Options:

Virtual Instructions: HOW DOES A VIRTUAL EVENT WORK? First, register then print out your personalized bib number, pick up your t-shirt, then run, walk or roll your distance!! A Virtual run, walk or roll can be completed anywhere, just be safe.

You can complete your distance anytime between 8 am JULY 18 TO AUGUST 31. After you have completed your distance upload your results by clicking on the Results tab at the top of the registration page, then click on the Submit Virtual Results and follow the prompts.

🏆 Awards:

All Race participants receive a commemorative medal and custom shirt.

• 5K: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear
• Half Marathon: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear
• Full Marathon: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear
• 47K: Top 3 overall Male & Female winners will receive Special Addition #RUIDOSOSTRONG Bear

🗺️ Start/Finish Location:

START / FINISH FOR ALL EVENTS AT WINGFIELD PARK. The 47K/50K race will start 1 hour before the marathon begins with a 2 pm cutoff time, and headlamps are strongly suggested. The 47K/50K will be limited to the first 50 registrants.

State Forty-Seven 47K/50K swag will be completely different including a Long-sleeved shirt, Trucker Cap, and custom medal to all finishers.
