TriGators DUATHLON & 5K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The TriGators invite you to race a Duathlon or 5K at the University of Florida Campus!!! Due to complications with the Florida Pool undergoing renovations without a set finish date we will be cancelling the swim and will be having an excellent Duathlon instead! And will return back in 2026 with the Triathlon!!

🏆 Duathlon Details

Our Duathlon consists of a run around the heart of our beautiful campus, a bike through UF’s scenic campus, and then a final run!

🚶‍♀️ Race Distances

• TriGators 5K: Just a 5k lol
• TriGators Sprint Duathlon: Consists of a 3.1 mile run, 10.2 mile bike ride, and a final 3.1 mile run!
• TriGators Super Sprint Duathlon: Consists of a 1.1 mile run, a 3.4 mile bike ride, and a final 1.1 mile run!

🤝 Community Support

Throughout the years many of the Gainesville and University of Florida community have come out to support the UF TriGators. Your participation in this race provides us with the funding necessary for the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Club to compete. With your help we’ve consistently been one of the top collegiate triathlon teams in Florida.

🎓 Alumni Participation

TriGators Alumni are welcome to come to the 2025 TriGators Duathlon and experience this race on their old stomping grounds! Please contact us at trigatorstri@gmail.com for a special discount code to the race if you were a TriGator during your time at UF. Please note that the discount code is for former members of the TriGators Triathlon Club, and we request proof of your former involvement with the club. We will have an alumni meetup zone and foods for the event.

💵 Refund Policy

No Refunds and No Transfers. NO EXCEPTIONS! Each entry fee to the 2025 TriGators Duathlon will be considered a donation to the University of Florida TriGators Triathlon Race. TriGators reasonably relies on all entry fees in order to promote and function as a team to compete across the United States. If for some reason the 2025 TriGators Duathlon is not able to occur each athlete will receive a refund for their entry fee or deferral to the next TriGators race.

👕 Participant Perks

Each participant registered before February 21st will receive an event race shirt. All finishers will receive a unique TriGators Duathlon or 5K finisher medal. Age Group awards will follow the 5 year age limit from 9 and under up to 75+.
