LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run

The LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 during the Farmington Founders Festival. This 5k chip-timed fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through scenic Shiawassee Park and beautiful Downtown Farmington.

Race Features

• Competitive Running: If you are a competitive runner, this will be an accurate 5k.
• Awards: There will be age group medals for awards along with medals for the Overall Male and Female winner.
• Color Stations: Positioned within the race route will be four color stations.
• T-shirts: The entry fee includes a t-shirt if signed up by July 5th, 2026.

Fun Experience

• Challenge Yourself: If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and COLOR!) along the way then this race is for you!
• Finisher's Medal: Participants will receive a finisher's medal.
• Refreshments: There will be refreshments waiting for you at the end.

Pricing Details

• Cost: $30 until 5/3, $35 from 5/4 to 7/17, $40 on race day 7/18.
• Registration: Online registration only - t-shirt and finisher medals not guaranteed to race day sign ups.
• Children: Children 5 and under can participate with an adult at no charge.

Award Categories

• Overall Winners: Overall Male and Female winners.
• Age Groups: Age groups male and female: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

Packet Pickup and Timing

• Packet Pickup: Race day only at Shiawassee Park starting at 7:30 am.
• Race Start: The run beginning at 9:00 am.
• Chip Timing: The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation.
• Results: Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Runmichigan.com.
