Farmington Founders Festival LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The LOC Credit Union 5k Color Run will take place on Saturday, July 18, 2026 during the Farmington Founders Festival. This 5k chip-timed fun run will give participants the opportunity to run through scenic Shiawassee Park and beautiful Downtown Farmington.

🎽 What to Expect

• Competitive Running: If you are a competitive runner this will be an accurate 5k.
• Awards: There will be age group medals for awards along with medals for the Overall Male and Female winner.
• Color Stations: Positioned within the race route will be four color stations, with room to bypass them.
• Shirts: The entry fee includes a t-shirt if signed up by July 5th, 2026. After that, availability is not guaranteed.

🎉 Fun and Challenge

If you want to challenge yourself to run or walk a 5k but also have some fun (and COLOR!) along the way then this race is for you! Participants will receive a finisher's medal and there will be refreshments waiting for you at the end.

💰 Pricing

• Cost: $30 until 5/3.
• Late Registration: $35 from 5/4 to 7/17.
• Race Day: $40 on race day 7/18 (online registration only).
• Children: Kids 5 and under can participate with an adult at no charge.

🏆 Awards

Award categories: Overall Male and Female winners. Age groups male and female: 12 and under, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.

📅 Race Day Information

Packet pick up: Race day only at Shiawassee Park starting at 7:30 am with the run beginning at 9:00 am.

⌚ Timing and Results

The race will be chip timed by the Michigan Running Foundation. Results will be posted during the race and on the web at Runmichigan.com.
