We are thrilled to introduce the Memorial Day Marketplace as part of the upcoming A SALUTE TO OUR TROOPS RACE! It’s a fantastic opportunity to support local merchants and find unique gifts for family and friends. Enjoy a wide variety of offerings including healthcare professionals, food trucks, bakers, ice cream, handcrafted goods, and more. With over 100 vendors, live entertainment, delicious food, and family-friendly fun, it’s the perfect way to spend Memorial Day with the whole family!

📍 VENUE LOCATION

The annual SALUTE TO OUR TROOPS (5K & 10K Race, 1M Freedom Fun Run) will kick off and conclude on the grounds of Christian Fellowship Church located at 44505 Atwater Drive, Ashburn Virginia 20147. While the start/finish line location will be new, the 5K and 10K courses will be largely the same as previous years and there's plenty of room and parking for race day festivities!

Please consider making a donation, fundraise, or secure a Corporate Matching Donation to Boulder Crest Retreat. Additionally, participants will be asked to bring an in-kind donated item to Packet Pickup or on Registration Day.

1M Fun Run/Walk
$15 per person 3 and older (under 3 is free) with tech-shirt option $25.00. Walkers under 12 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If parent/guardian is registered for 10K or 5K race, parent/guardian is free for 1K event.

Friday: May 23 from 3:00-7:00 pm at =PR= One Loudoun: 20436 Exchange St, Ashburn, VA 20147
Saturday: May 24 from 10:30 am-1:30 pm at =PR= Leesburg: 1601 Village Market Blvd. SE, Unit 120, Leesburg, VA 20175
Race Day: May 26 at the race site: Christian Fellowship Church, starting at 7:00 am

🎖️ Awards

In both the 10k and 5k gift certificates will be given to the top 3 overall men and top 3 women, as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 11 and under, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-84, and 85 & over. A trophy will also be awarded to the largest team in both the 5K and 10K events.

👕 TECH SHIRT DEADLINE

To be guaranteed an Official Ringing in Hope Tech shirt, please be sure to register by May 10, 2025. After that date, shirts will be available on race day following the race on a first come, first served basis, if still available. The event offers a uniquely designed commemorative short-sleeved technical t-shirt to registrants in the 5K and 10K Race. Runners will receive the t-shirt size they have ordered as indicated on their bib in order to help ensure participants receive what they requested.
