The mission of Move Together Columbus is to address health disparities in Columbus, Ohio through the power of movement and togetherness.

• Event Type: Free monthly fun run/walk events
• Participants: Students, teachers, parents, community members, and local wellness enthusiasts

• Collaboration: Between Columbus City Schools, Fleet Feet, and Brooks

💪 Movement is Medicine

Our inner-city communities face numerous health issues, including limited access to healthcare, higher rates of chronic diseases, and disparities in health outcomes.

• Impact: Movement promotes physical activity, reduces stress, and improves overall well-being
• Prevention: Regular exercise helps prevent chronic diseases
• Awareness: Encouraging healthy eating habits and access to healthcare resources
• Goal: Improve overall health of marginalized populations

📅 Meetup Schedule

Schedule subject to change. Meetups are held rain or shine. We start moving at 5:00pm! Arrive early for parking and plan on joining us for 60-90 minutes.

• Film Festival: Culminating in the Move Together film festival
• End of Year Celebration: Featuring running and walking inspired videos
• Location: Historic Lincoln Theater

Move Together is held at four Columbus City Schools locations. One location per month. And, we return to each school several times throughout the year!
