🚀 Welcome to the Sy-5K Race!

Join us in celebrating NATIONAL SCIENCE FICTION MONTH!! Kick start your 2026 Racing Season with our fun, family-friendly 5K and earn a HUGE UFO SPINNER MEDAL! If you place top three in your age group, you'll win an ADDITIONAL MEDAL!

🎉 Kid's Dash

If your littles are excited to join in the experience, but aren't quite ready to tackle a full 5K, we highly recommend the KID'S DASH! This is a short 100-200 meter sprint prior to the start of the race to give our little ones the opportunity to experience the racing environment without the pressure of a seemingly long, endless course. Dashers receive participation shirts, and will have the option to add a finisher medal to their registration.

🏆 Age Group Awards

Age groups will be awarded 3 deep in the following divisions: M/F 0--9, M/F 10-14, M/F 15-19, M/F 20-29, M/F 30-39, M/F 40-49, M/F 50-59, M/F 60-69, M/F 70-79, M/F 80+. Our OVERALL MALE, OVERALL FEMALE, MALE MASTERS (40+), and FEMALE MASTERS (40+) will not only receive their gold medals, but will also win a CUSTOM EVENT-THEMED TROPHY!

📅 Awards Distribution

AWARDS WILL BE DISTRIBUTED AT THE EVENT. WE WILL NOT SHIP AWARDS. PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ON YOUR RESULTS PRIOR TO LEAVING THE EVENT.
