About the Event

• Purpose: October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month which is the best way to join us for our first annual walk/run!
• Support: Show your support and help us in raising awareness.
• Health Benefits: Staying healthy and active is not only good for us physically, but mentally as well.
• Join Us: Join us in our challenge and show your support.

Proceeds

• Beneficiary: All proceeds will go to PINK "ME" Non-Profit Organization.
• Donations: If you would like, you will be able to make an additional donation before you complete your registration.

DID YOU KNOW?

• Statistics: In 2020, there were 2.3 million women diagnosed with breast cancer and 685,000 deaths in the world.
• Decline in Deaths: While the death rates have declined since 1989, it's still the most commonly diagnosed cancer type.
• Proactive Measures: You can’t prevent cancer, but you can be proactive in learning the signs and symptoms and taking care of your health.
• Importance: Knowledge and early detection can save your life.

TO JOIN THE CHALLENGE:

• Register: Register for the 5K Walk/Run.
• Complete: Complete your Walk/Run at your pace on October 18th.
• Share: Share your finisher photo and tag us on social media using hashtags #BreastCancerAwareness #PINKME.

VIRTUAL 5K WALK/RUN

• Accessibility: Santa Fe, and beyond! PINK "ME" is excited to announce a virtual component to our 3rd Annual Lace Up and Race/Walk 5K.
• Participation: You can support us from anywhere you’d like! Grab your favorite walking buddy and lace up with us!

Race Basics

• Materials: You will receive a Numbered Bib, T-Shirt, and Medal in the mail prior to race day.
• Location: Decide if you are walking the 3.2 miles in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or on your favorite track/trail.
• Race Day: On Saturday, October 18, 2025, put on your race gear and hit the pavement or treadmill to complete the race.
• Social Media: Take a picture and post it on social media using the hashtag #PINKMELACEUPANDRACE.

Virtual Registration Includes:

• Numbered Race Bib
• Official Race T-Shirt
• Finisher Medal
• Note: Registration must be received by October 11th to allow for the shipping of the race packet (US only).
