The Shamrock Salute 5k & Beer Mile

🍀 Event Overview

• Date: March 1st, 2025
• Location: Harker Heights Community Park, Harker Heights, TX
• Activities: 5K run, beer mile, and kids’ fun run
• Cause: Proceeds support military families through the USO

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• 5K Race: Includes shirt + beer ticket (shirts not included for registrations after 2/15)
• Kids Fun Run: Includes finisher medal
• Beer Mile: Includes beer for race
• Competition: Prizes for best dressed and best team in the beer mile

🏅 Awards

• Top Finishers: Awards given to the top overall male and female 5K finishers
• Age Groups: Awards for top three male/female finishers in each age group
• Groups: Age groups include 11&U, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+
• Note: No duplicate awards

🌧️ Weather Policy

• Rain or Shine: The event is planned to run regardless of weather
• Personal Decision: Participants should assess their safety for participation
• Delays: Race officials may delay or shorten the race based on heavy rain or severe weather
• No Refunds: There are no refunds, and the race will not be moved to an alternative date
