Hoppin Hodges Rails to Trails 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The Hoppin Hodges 5K will take place on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, at 8:30 am.

📍 Location

• Address: 580 Lake Road, Andover, CT
• Registration and Number Pickup: Opens at 7:15 am at the Andover Ben Franklin Parking Lot
• Start/Finish: The race will start and finish at Ben Franklin Plumbing in Andover, CT
• Course: A flat and wide out-and-back trail on the Hop River Trail

💖 Race Dedication

The 5K is held in memory of Jim Hodges and will benefit the Town of Andover Parks & Rec to help preserve the Trail. There are no awards at this race. Jim Hodges loved running on the Rails to Trails and enjoyed the experience for pure enjoyment.

📝 Registration

• Participation: Online registration is required for all participants.
• Donation: Donations on race day will be accepted.
• Race Numbers: Must be pinned clearly to the front of the jersey.
• Proceeds: Benefit the preservation and maintenance of the Hop River Trail provided by the Town of Andover Parks Department.
