The Hoppin Hodges 5K will take place on Easter Sunday, April 20, 2025, at 8:30 am.
Location: 580 Lake Rd, Andover, CT
📅 Registration Details
- Registration Deadline: NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION - Registration closes Saturday, April 19 at 5 PM.
- Pick Up: Registration and number pick up opens at 7:15 am at the Andover Ben Franklin Parking Lot.
- Online Registration: Required for all participants.
- Donation: Participants can donate on race day.
🏞️ Race Details
The 5K will be in memory of Jim Hodges and will benefit the Town of Andover Parks & Rec to help preserve the Trail. There are no awards at this race.
- Trail Information: The flat and wide trail will start and finish on the Hop River Trail at Ben Franklin in Andover, CT.
- Course Location: In-person race on the Hop River Trail.
- Runner Experience: Jim Hodges loved running on the Rails to Trails for the pure enjoyment and positive experience.
- Race Number: Must be pinned clearly to the front of the jersey.
💲 Beneficiary
Proceeds from the 5K will benefit the preservation and maintenance of the Hop River Trail provided by the Town of Andover Parks Department.
