11th Annual Keris Kares Royal Run: The Superhero Edition

🎗️ Event Overview

When a child is diagnosed with cancer, everything STOPS. A family’s whole life changes just like that and it does not go back to normal. Bills and stress are at an all-time high and help from others is critical. One in 285 children in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer by the time they are 20 years old. Childhood cancer research and treatments are vastly and consistently underfunded.

🌟 About Keris

Keris was a proud Kindergarten graduate of Newnan Crossing Elementary School. She was a vibrant and faithful child who bravely battled a rare form of pediatric brain cancer called Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma (DIPG) from the age of 4 until her transition at the age of 6. She made a lasting impression on those that knew her. The name Keris means love and charity.

💖 Our Mission

Our driving motivation is to pay it forward with love and charity and bless other hurting families the same way the community blessed Keris. Proceeds from this event fund:

• Family Emergency Fund: Provides financial assistance to families in need.
• Keris Kares 4 the Arts: Promotes artistic programs for children.
• Food for Families Program: Supplies meals to families facing hardships.
• Participation Impact: Your registration helps us KARE for families, kids, and teachers.

After the race, join us at the 1st Avenue Park, 2 blocks south of the Court Square, for characters, games, petting zoo, food trucks, face painting, and many more magical surprises.
