Bosom Buddy Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Cedarburg Junior Woman's Annual 5k Bosom Buddy Run/Walk is open to all levels of runners and walkers and is a non-profit event. This will be a timed race with bibs and medals. Shirts will be available to early registrations (until 3/31). Proceeds will be donated to local breast cancer support groups. The start and finish line will be located at the Centennial Park, which is near the Cedarburg Community Pool.

Race Details

• Timed Race: This event will feature timing for all participants.
• Race Start: 9:00 AM - RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 8:30 AM.
• T-Shirts: Available for 5k early registrations only (before 3/28).
• Finisher Medals: All participants will receive a medal upon completion.

Additional Information

• Packet Pickup: Please make plans to pick up your packet early on Friday at the Amish Guild II in Cedarburg from 3 PM - 6 PM if possible.
• Course Changes: Please note that the course may change due to city guidelines. It is a 3.1 mile course that will start on Fair Street heading south.
• Open Course: The course is NOT a closed course: all streets will be OPEN for traffic but will be directed by local officers and volunteers.
• Parking: DO NOT PARK ON EVERGREEN. Approved parking at the Cedarburg Community Pool is available but limited: ample side street parking is off Evergreen.

Beneficiary Organizations

This run/walk is benefiting two organizations in Ozaukee County:

• Chix4aCause: Contributions will help provide financial and emotional support for people fighting cancer in Southeastern Wisconsin and surrounding areas.
• Aurora Grafton Cancer Center: Contributions benefit Aurora Grafton Cancer Center and its integrative medicine programs, ensuring every dollar stays local to support cancer care in Ozaukee County.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Awards to each top male and female runner, sponsored by TBD.
• Age Group Winners: First, second, and third place winners will be awarded in each age group, sponsored by TBD.
• Award Categories: Age group awards given to top 3 in the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
• Thank You: Thank you for making a difference in your community!
