Bosom Buddy Run/Walk

Event Overview

The Cedarburg Junior Woman's Annual 5k Bosom Buddy Run/Walk is open to all levels of runners and walkers and is a non-profit event. This will be a timed race with bibs and medals. Shirts will be available to early registrations (until 3/31). Proceeds will be donated to local breast cancer support groups. The start and finish line will be located at the Centennial Park which is near the Cedarburg Community Pool.

Race Details

• Timed Race: This event will be fully timed with bibs.
• Race Start: 9:00 AM - RACE DAY REGISTRATION WILL CLOSE AT 8:30 AM and will CAP at 300 TIMED runners.
• T-Shirts: Available for 5k early registrations only (before 3/31).
• Finisher Medals: 5k Finisher Medals will be awarded.
• Community Swag Bag: For first 120 5K RUN/WALK participants.

Important Updates

• Packet Pickup: Please make plans to pick up your packet early on Friday at the Amish Guild II in Cedarburg on Friday from 3 PM - 6 PM if possible. We could have close to 300 runners.
• Course Change: A 3.1 mile course that will start on Pine street heading southeast between Harrison and Evergreen Rd due to construction.
• Traffic Advisory: The course is NOT a closed course. All streets will be OPEN for traffic but will be directed by local officers and volunteers.
• Parking Information: DO NOT PARK ON PINE Please! We received approval to park at Parkview Elementary, though spots are limited. Evergreen Road by the park and pool will be closed.

This run/walk is benefiting two organizations in Ozaukee County:

• Chix4aCause: Your contributions will help provide financial and emotional support for people fighting cancer in Southeastern Wisconsin and surrounding areas.
• The Aurora Grafton Cancer Center: Your contributions benefit Aurora Grafton Cancer Center and its integrative medicine programs, ensuring every dollar stays local to support cancer care in Ozaukee County.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Awards to each top male and female Runner, sponsored by The Amrap Method of Grafton.
• Age Group Winners: First, Second, and Third place winners will be awarded.
• Age Group Awards: Given to top 3 in each of the following age groups: 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
