Join us for the Safari Run to Uganda 2025, an in-person and virtual race designed for the entire family! Dress in your favorite African animal costume and get ready for a fun-filled day at County Farm Park.

• Date: June 14, 2025
• Location: County Farm Park, Ann Arbor, MI
• Time: T-Shirt Pick-up: 8 A.M., Race Start: 9 A.M. (Tot Trot), 9:15 A.M. (Fun Run), 10 A.M. (5K)
• Dress Code: Wear your African animal costume!

🎉 Family Fun Activities

• Race Options: 50-yard tot trot, 1.1-mile fun run, and 5K
• Registration Perks: Register for the fun run or 5K to participate in both. Free tot trot for ages 1-3 (with a registered adult).
• Prizes: Best African animal costume for both child and adult categories
• Special Activities: Enjoy face painting and other fun events!

🤝 About Us

Building Up: Partnering in Health and Wholeness is a nonprofit organization based in Ann Arbor, MI. We are running this event to raise funds to equip and staff Tsiyon (Zion) Family Hospital in Sayyi, Uganda.

All proceeds go to help equip and staff this clinic located in the economically disadvantaged community of Sayyi. People now walk 7-10 miles for medical care. Women have little access to pre & post-natal care, children receive no vaccinations, and people of all ages suffer from malnutrition, parasites, and diseases such as malaria and HIV/AIDS. Mortality rates, especially for infants, are distressingly high.

Lack of immediate medical and dental care will continue to impact the lives of the Sayyi area people until the clinic is operational.
